I'm excited for this Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tire review! It will be coming on the new Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition, the Ram 1500 TRX, the Hummer EV, and the new 2021 Ford Bronco with Sasquatch package. I've been excited to review the Territory MT because there aren't a lot of videos out there on it yet.

These come on my 2024 AT4X Canyon & does an excellent job in Snow/Ice covered roads.
Handles hydroplaning very well.
The compound is extremely soft, so you’ll definitely have to rotate these tires at least twice a year .
The bad thing I see - is the Siping is not very deep at all - so after probably 20, 000 miles your snow traction & water hydroplaning efficiency is probably gonna drop in half .
But definitely definitely keeping close eye on your tire pressure as well as rotation will be the two key components in the life of these tires - if mainly in contact with the tarmac.
Off-road abuse will probably destroy this tire in a meaningful short time.

This may not be a popular opinion, but this video was a big relief for me. My new Bronco is going to be on pavement 99.9% of the time, and I was concerned I'd have to swap the tires immediately upon delivery. Glad to hear these are more AT than true mud tires, which I absolutely do not need.

Have these on my 2021 Sierra at4. Great traction. Smooth ride. NOISY AS HELL!

So now 3 years later... how have these tires held up?

First time watching your reviews. Well done. Clear, honest, open, and detailed. Thanks!

I just got a ZR2 with those MT tires. Relatively quiet at high speeds. Traction is good as well with the 285/70/17 tires. Thank you for sharing

Cool to see a review of this tire come out so quickly, but I agree, it’s probably not as exciting for the hard core off-road crowd as anticipated. It looks decent, and seems like it will be quiet and compliant to meet OE goals, but I’d rather run a Duratrac or KO2.

I loved my Duratracs. Never had traction issues in sand, mild mud, snow, rain, slickrock. These look like they are supposed to be a successor to the Duratrac but without 3PMSF or a stronger 3ply sidewall these are pointless.

Would the General Grabber APT be a better all-around tire for those of us who see 99% payment(hwy) and forest roads for that couple times a year? Also, was considering the Revo3 but it’s an E-load tire.

Not many tires out there in 315/70R17 that are c-rated. I went with Toyo RT in that spec on my raptor and like them so far but these are interesting.

Got to say, this is one of the best tire reviewers I’ve seen on YouTube. Honest and not a straight up sales pitch. Unfortunately I’m in SC otherwise I’d totally use y’all’s shop for my tire needs.

These tires came stock on my Chevy Trailboss. I Have 43, 000 miles on them. Cons If at a complete stop in the rain, tires will spin 90% of the time. Winter/snow is not horrible, but nothing great. Got loud at 25, 000 miles. Dirt gravel roads handle well But for the price under $1, 000 for a set of four hard-to-beat

Looking at buying the Chevy 2500 HD ZR2 and it comes with these tires. I like the general grabber AT2 better but the Goodyear doesn't look too bad. Like you said it's for a new truck. This video was 3 years ago what's your opinion of this tire now?

Thank you for the review. I was having a hard time finding any info on these. Thumbs up !

Appreciate your honest opinion of Goodyear tires...hahaha! I would think for the price of those vehicles the OE set of tires would be a proven tire. Vehicle manufactures really need to do better.

Great review Matt. I have been waiting to see and hear a review of this tire.

I got mine on the chevy trail boss and it’s a good tire. We hit light trails within my trucks capabilities, I pull a 6500lb camper around the country, cattle and hay etc.
Can’t speak to the tread life yet though. If I remember I’ll follow up post when I hit that point.
The noise is acceptable and winter handling in drifts and ice was great. Sandstone handling did great too.

Did you get your Bronco? I'm curious how you'd rate its version vs the K02. I'm in the midwest looking for new tires. I can get the Bronco tire for $222 each in a 35, but can get the c rated K02 for $350 in a 37. I'm just worried about midwest off-road terrain and the K02 since consensus is you're screwed if the trail is wet (light mud).

These tires came on my 2025 2500 zr2, look awesome ride perfect and zero road noise. I would like to add a friend of mine test drove a Colorado zr2 and said they were loud and road like crap and those are much smaller. 33 vs35. Is it poor quality control or just luck, I have no idea but I couldn’t be happier with mine
