This is a 1967 Velocette Thruxton which has just been rebuilt from having a new big end fitted.
I've changed the handlebars to more comfortable ones and put on a centre stand.
In the background is a nearly finished BSA model E from 1927

it took some work to get these old bikes started, no injection, computers etc, but what a lovely bike, and what a great sound

A lovely bike, and a good starter given an intelligent approach, all too many people just kick away until they collapse then blame the bike, mainly because they are just too lazy to learn how to do it properly, enjoy this gem! I fitted my Venom engine into a Manx Norton frame, it went very well! Chris B.
