My experience has been that in every attempt, there is a definite bias to the driver’s side of the space. Not a terrible outcome, but would be nice to get fixed. Hey, my wife was impressed, so maybe she will warm up to trying FSD when that eventually shows up. 😊😊😊

Interesting video but-- as a Tesla owner for several years-- I'd say it's honestly the least useful feature and more of a novelty. I use Smart Summon on my Model 3 only to make my son laugh.

Nice demonstrations! I noticed on mine that it currently doesn't seem to recognize diagonally oriented parking spaces. Hopefully that improves in a future update.

i love the autopark especially on very difficult spots but it reverses too fast when near a wall like in this vid

The backup feature is horrid. I find it takes way to long, and people get pissed. They are already pissed if you back in quick. I just do it myself, as I can do it 5x faster without multiple turns.

I think you are being a bit critical of the placement between the lines, this is amazing! I mean, have you tried backing into a spot with a regular pickup truck? People go over the lines all the time. I am critical of such parking too and I even park over lines myself when driving a pickup truck on occasion. Rear camera view on newer trucks help a ton though.

Why would anyone need help pulling into a perpendicular parking spot. lol Those are the EASY ones!!! lmao. If you can't park in a perpendicular spot you definitely shouldn't have a license. Forget parallel parking.
