"Being whom exactly? Sure, the fashion industry and the media constantly pump this nonrealism. It behooves them to do so. People interested in their appearance spend more $ on their garbage than people who don't. But let's not let the "objects" off the hook either. Not a day goes by that JLo, Liz Hurley or Halle Berry aren't posting bikini pics of themselves "living their best lives" after 50. How an average woman can look at that crap and feel "empowered" is beyond me.
