The governor of Nigeria’s Lagos state, Babajide Olusola Sanwo, believes the China-built Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line project will make Lagos a resilient megacity globally once completed. The LRMT is expected to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution, improve the lives of locals, as well as have a zero-carbon emission impact on the environment.

It will cost a lot of money to maintain these trains and Nigeria has a poor track record. Nigeria can't run things like Ethiopia in doing with her trains.
