Besides your great work in making these visualizations of music and your great musicianship to go with it, I have to thank you for getting to know many more pieces than I did before. Although I started my musical studies with the piano, I'm mostly a choir conductor, singer, teacher and arranger, so I never got to know much about Chopin's Études (I just knew a couple of them). This étude in particular spoke to me very deeply: it is both beautiful and very well constructed, affirming Chopin very high in the two things I most prize in a composer, the expressivity and the technique mastery. So thank you for the ride: I hope you keep them coming.

This piece/video is almost hypnotic as I sip my coffee before my 12-hour shift. Wonderful representation of the score as always. Just can't go wrong with Chopin.

Great way to start the day.

The graphics here look 'glossy' and modern. I love it.

I can't get over how 'modern' this sounds. You would never think it was 19th century music in many ways - it is so surprising.

This piece is very interesting, and very pretty. Thanks smalin for the animation like the one similar to Debussy's Arabesque No. 1 video.

nice visualizations. i've learned this piece myself and those middle seven bars are just diabolical. you mustn't learn that middle section too much at once or else your left hand will dead for the rest of the day. i've been there and it isn't funny.

Good interpretation! With Chopin's right pedal!! (everybody use a lot of r.p. in this "etude")

Did you play this mostly as it was written? I can't imagine what Chopin must have put upon the page in order to create such delicious rhythms, unless you're playing more rubato (and very beautifully) than what is written. Fantastic video, as always!

Typo in the harmonic colors page down the bottom you wrote "The right of spring" twice.

Are the animations the product of application of a set of rules only or do you manually customize them as well?
