Thanks for the explainer. I found the tabs under the dust cover were important to align with the holes in the headlight assembly (cause more removal challenges than the o ring).

For those watching this video, make sure you turn and check by pulling lightly on the cover to ensure you’ve rotated the tabs into the gaps through which they can removed. There are 4 tabs & gaps, spaced 90 degrees apart.

The tab gaps are located at the 12/3/6/9 o’clock positions within the assembly, while the tabs are spaced similarly on the internal side of the dust cover, with the 12 o’clock tab being directly behind the one extended external “finger grip” on the cover.

Hope this saves people some time & frustration :)

Just changed both of my headlights on my runner yesterday thanks to your video. Driver side was a little difficult due to the battery being in the way, but it’s done the same just needing a little maneuvering. Now what else can i do??😂😂 thanks again!
