My wife and I got married in May of 2021, right after the simple version of this song was released. My brother and her sister sang this song at our wedding. This song has ministered to us in so many ways, and was the perfect song to set the tone for our marriage. Thank you Sovereign Grace for writing this song, but most of all, thank you Sovereign Lord for holding all of our tomorrows.

This song lifted up my precious cousin who was suffering terribly with severe Guillain Barre Syndrome, in the hospital barely able to move and unable to swallow, no food for days, no sleep and great suffering. She wept with joy listening to this because it was brought home to her that Jesus holds all her tomorrows and she could rest in Him.

When I completed theological studies a few years ago, I thought I would quickly get to serving God in a church or church based organization. I knew people in those institutions, but like Joseph in the Bible, the people I knew wouldn’t remember me when opportunities for service opened. Little did I realize the Lord was working on me to know what trusting him is. It has been 6 years now since I graduated, I have no trust in man or things, then this year May 2024, God has given me responsibility over his flock. This song has helped me appreciate the trust He has worked in me toward him. Thank you saints of God for serving in music faithfully.

I've listened to the first recording of this song with McEnzie singing along with Bob on piano and that third verse always gets to me. Lovely to hear a full band version but the acoustic version is worth a listen.
