666 likes...interesting. Why does this deity of the old testament seem austere about disobedience ? Surely most parents want their children to honour them npt continually be scared and anxious about obeying their every 'command' ? Why all the commandments, can't we simply have teachings, guidance or instruction ? Seems a big ask at times to 'love your Gd with all your heart and all your strength' when such a being doesn't exactly foster these feelings it could be argued.
