*TABLE OF CONTENTS BELOW* Fall is approaching, but for most of the country, summerlike temperatures remain throughout most of September. While many gardeners are busy transitioning their summer garden into a fall garden and focusing on fall crops at this time, they sometimes forget that summer crops still grow well in September in most places. This video discusses 5 summer vegetables you should still be growing in September by using succession cropping / succession planting vegetables to extend your summer garden harvest.

Tomato plants, pepper plants, zucchini, cucumbers, corn and many other summer crops grow well in early fall, and in some parts of the country, can even be grown into late fall or early winter, and should still be a part of your garden's September vegetables.

This was a great and informative video. I'm getting ready to plant another tomato crop ("winters" here are no more than 60-90 days long), along with peppers and lettuces. Thanks. And as you know, Dale has become a much-loved part of your videos, so glad he gets at least a brief cameo! Jim in North FL

Great info. Keep it coming. My peppers are always small and fleshy. They never seem to have juice and not much flavor. Any suggestions?

Please tell us how do you install weed barrier fabric in between raised bed. Do you cut the excess or just fold them in? Our garden bed paths are 2 feet wide.
