We wanted to see more of the Netherlands, and do it from our bikes. So we made (and bought) a bit of bikepacking and camping gear, and headed off!

Dit is n baie mooi roete wat ek sal wil doen. Hoop om dit eendag te kan doen. Ek het lief geword vir Nederland. Groete uit Suid Afrika.

Great adventure, did this route last March….wife dropped me off at the Belgian border, then once at the German border cycled back home to South Limburg….almost 1000 km in nine days….🚴‍♂️💨💨💨

Mooi opgenomen. Jammer van die regen. Ik deed hem ook zo ongeveer maar alleen maar zon. Me lucky. Alleen met de e - Speed. Altijd wind mee. LOL.

Mooie roadmovie! Wisselende omstandigheden en laatste stuk in Groningen lijkt iets minder mooi of lijkt dat maar zo? Hebben jullie verder nog tips voor deze beginnende bikepacking wegfietsert (incl. tentje, excl. kookspul)? Die LF Icoon routes lenen zich volgens mij mooi voor een lange weekend bikepack trip, om vervolgens met de trein retour te gaan, net als jullie deden. Tof!
