I must say, the launch procedure of the missile from the Tor is interesting and funny looking with the ejection of the missile before firing the motor.

This along with the Buk and Pantsir, are great mobile SAM platforms. That's because the Soviet Union made air defense this as their main doctrine for war. The USA focused more on air superiority(especially stealth). We're starting to see which one was the better choice. Hint: you can't hit what you can't see

The most elegantly designed and powerful shorad system out there. In nagorno karabakh the one tor system that was taken out was actually powered down in a warehouse. In spite of this the azeris(turks) used three drones and their expensively purchased israeli suicide drone to destroy it. That is how scared the turks were of it. In Syria it stopped all turk rc planes. The thing is a beast. While pantsir is more effective than propaganda made it out to be, it was not as effective as tor.
