I got the player model of this one. I just couldn’t justify the cost of the American made one. The Mexican one has all I’d need from it. It’s actually been excellent when you start a song with an acoustic but then have to switch to an electric. I don’t have to switch guitars which is nice. It’s great for song writing also. And you can put it through a modeling amp like a Mustang even and try out a ton of different pedals and how they sound best. Or just blend the levels of distortion you want with the guitar itself if that’s all you need.
I wouldn’t say this guitar is for everyone, no guitar really is except the one you’re playing at the time. 😂. But it does work I for me and my situation. And the player model is awesome, especially since you don’t have to plug your guitar in to charge it. The player has a 9 volt battery and that’s all you need. That’s a big advantage in my opinion. It sounds good doing everything…but it’ll never sound great at one thing. If that makes sense? If you’re gonna get one, get the player and save a grand. Or if you’re dead set on American, you can find used American Tele Acoustasonics for around what you pay for a new player model. I’ve even considered getting a Tele Acoustasonic! I ended up getting the new John5 “Ghost” Tele and it is awesome! I got it from Fender about 20 minutes after they went up on the site!
Ok I’ll shut up now…😂. I just like talking about guitars!

One secret I did not like is the old style usb charging port for the internal battery.

The Jazzmastee model is far superior to the strat and tele imo. Your demonstrator does zero justice though as the sound and riff are that of a clueless child.
