Gulab ka Sharbat

Ingredients

Rose Patel- 80 gms
Sugar- 850 gms
Water- 850 gms
Citric acid- 1/ tsp

Method
In this scorching heat to make home made Rose Sharbat -Gulabbat
• Clean Rose patels well with clean water
• Put cleaned Rose patels in a big bowl
• Boil 850 gms water
• Add Boiled water on the rose patels
• Cover the bowl with a lid and keep it aside for 1 hour
• Boil patels with the water for 10 min
• Remove from flame once rose patels have released all color and have turned white
• Strain this rose water
• Again boil this rose water on high flame
• Add half of Sugar 400 gms
• Make a syrup by boiling on high flame for 10 min
• Add remaining 450 gms Sugar
• Once the syrup is in sticky consistency add 1/4 tsp citric acid
• Mix well
• Remove from flame and let it cool down
• Strain again to remove any impurities
• Store in bottles and Enjoy Gulab-bat by adding 2 tbsp of Gulab-bat with cold water or cold milk
