Krystal Ball responds to Current Affairs Editor Nathan Robinson's smear of, 'The Populist's Guide to 2020: A New Right and New Left are Rising.'

About Rising:
Rising is a weekday morning show with bipartisan hosts that breaks the mold of morning TV by taking viewers inside the halls of Washington power like never before. The show leans into the day's political cycle with cutting edge analysis from DC insiders who can predict what is going to happen. It also sets the day's political agenda by breaking exclusive news with a team of scoop-driven reporters and demanding answers during interviews with the country's most important political newsmakers.

This is by far the BEST "On My Radar" that you have ever done Krystal, we'll written and reasoned. Great work!!

We need to stop calling our representatives "leaders". That's a large misconception.

I would consider myself a conservative, and this is one of the only shows I can watch that makes me rethink my position on some issues. Joe Rogan is another.

I'm a Leftie that supported Sanders. The Rising wouldn't be the same without Saagar. I even agree with him at times. It's good to keep this balance on the show.

Krystal and Saagar tell it like it is. They're not afraid of anyone. They are a model of constructive conversation.

Krystal and Saaga's combined interaction is unique and much needed.

I don’t always agree with Saagar, but it is super informative hearing his perspective!

The real question is how do we grow shows like this?

I'm a 57 year old, who grew up in Berkeley, CA in the 60's & 70's, and I am a committed Progressive.
While I'm not always in agreement with a number of Sagaar's opinions, I definitely appreciate his candor, and his openness to engage with many ideas with which he seems to be uncomfortable.
The least I can do, is reciprocate that same consideration.
I hope this nation can move past it's reflexive, juvenile, responses; and move into a deeper understanding about how we can move forward to true (not just performative) justice and equality.

I am sure I am not the first to write this in comment section: The two perspectives represented by Kristal and Saagar is EXACTLY why I subbed and love this show so much.

There is a reason why rising has gained more subscribers than any other show in the last year on YouTube. We want to hear from both sides and make up our own minds. It’s a healthy debate. It’s awesome in my opinion.

It’s almost like this show encourages us to think for ourselves instead of telling us what to think

It isn't about a book. It's about adult discourse of opposing positions. Keep it up, please.

My favorite parts of the radars are always hearing the other host snickering in the background in agreement. Gets me every time.

I LOVE Saagar’s laugh when Krystal says: “Nathan readily admits that he agrees with 80% of what Saagar has to say.”

The party elites on both sides don't want we the people to come together in agreement. That should tell you something.
