While digging to find the original searcher shaft, The Curse of Oak Island team stumbles upon a completely unrecorded shaft. Is it a searcher shaft? What's more, it is just a few feet from the Garden Shaft that was refurbished last season.

Also from last nights show, the team found what they are calling a 'vault' north of the Eye of The Swamp.

Join us as Tom Burns and I dive into The Curse of Oak Island Season 12 Premiere to discuss all the clues from this exciting two hour season opener.

Hi, they must to dig all the area close to garden shaft only a few meters deep to see if there is more hidden shafts !
Possible hot locals are above the garden shaft circle all that location, or close to second shaft. Another hot spot is to see between Smiths cove and the second shaft!

Being a cable cutter I can't get access to the History channel and my two most favorite shows! I'm so glad I found yall last year and your coverage of the show is even better than the show! Least yall don't keep replaying old graphics from prior years lol😂 keep up the great work!

I think it was choppy. Hopefully they will put more stuff together in an area before they move on to the next area. Otherwise it was interesting and a good tease for the new season. My opinion: Eye of the swamp! I have been sending psychic vibes for years. That is the key.

To me it seems likely that some of the greatest treasure was once held here along with plenty of other treasure that as they recovered the greatest some was left behind. Both because they couldn't take it all and also as a way to try and end pursuit. Looking forward to season 24.

I love the show but I am confused about why they haven't located and resolved the flood tunnels. I would have done that first and then focus on the treasure. The flood tunnels are easy, and the treasure is not as easy but can still be done.

There is more than one story. There are many. At least in my book.

One thought I have is the historical record of the 2 shafts (Chappell and Hedden), one longer than the other, could be wrong. Because the layout and design is like the garden shaft and 2A. Also the can left behind is not over shaft 2A. It is now covered up, and clearly not a depositor shaft.

Oak Island is starting to remind me of Al Capone's vaults. A whole lot of nothing. I hope they prove me wrong.

I thought they already found the 14' tunnel running from shaft 2 to the money pit in a previous season?!

Anhidryte mixed with sodium (salt water) turns it into gypsum. It's like a clay. It used to be all over in middle Georgia. That stuff could be your clay they find. Certainly they know this? Apparently Roman's used it to help make concrete also.please fact check me

10 years. Poured over a million or more into it. Still guessing as to what they have found. A ton of time wasted. Which tells me one thing. Subscription, advertising making money is the objective for the History Channel. Not about finding treasures. Because if there was Treasures evrything would have been made to find it. Instead, we have a team of 20 people, an excavator, Billy... a bunch of shovels and a drill team drilling holes, only to find clay and wood. Again, if there were treasures worth 10's of millions of dollars, An army, of pepple would be deployed. Instead, we get drip... drip...wait to the next show only to say... we found nothing. LOL

How is shaft 2 still there after Dunfield dug his 100-foot diameter hole? Was he that far off that shaft 2 survived?

One episode in and I'm tired of the recaps all ready, a two hour show and 80mins is all recapping the last 11seasons.
unfortunately its a format that many good shows use but it turns people away.

seems like the money pit was a mine for the clay. then it was used as a deposit site for multiple generations. a rough vault / bank of sorts
