Minecraft has gone too far (I've been permanently banned)

This is a reupload of a video I made over a year ago when I was banned from Minecraft Bedrock. Due to the recent changes to Minecraft Java's chat system, I saw it fit to reupload it here. They have since added an appeal system to Bedrock Edition. so If you have also been banned from Minecraft Bedrock, watch this video here to get unbanned:

I have been permanently banned from multiplayer services on Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The recent changes to the game, which allow Mojang to permanently ban you from all multiplayer services for any and all violations of their terms of service. Not only do they not tell you why you are banned, but they also do NOT allow any time of appeal or negotiation. In their words: "Currently, bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Support." The key word in that is currently. If we can spread the word enough to get Mojang to revise or even revert the changes, we can make Minecraft a much better place for everyone. Share this video to anyone you would think would be interested.

1. DO NOT TRUST any commenters telling you to message any person/hacker on instagram or any other platform, they are scammers trying to STEAL YOUR INFO. VVV continue reading VVV

2. This video is a REUPLOAD of a video made in December 2020. This is why there is a 1.16 background of the video.

3. This video talks about the BEDROCK version of Minecraft, not Java. However, the ban system is very similar on both versions.

Wait wait wait. Hold on. Why is Microsoft not allowing you to use the marketplace? So they can delete all of the stuff you’ve spent money on, forcing you to buy a new account a rebuy all the skins, maps, etc. you’ve bought? Amazing

“Bans are permanent non-negotiable and cannot be removed by support” That is stricter than any game out there, they act like their mod team and auto moderation is some all-knowing entity that is never wrong, wtf.

Wow. Remember when everyone was scared that Notch would add Ultra Hardcore to Minecraft (where if you die your copy of the game is deleted and you have to buy it again)? This is literally what they're doing, but minus the fun of the high stakes in hardcore

When even the younger side of the fanbase is starting to be more of a voice of reason than the current owners, that's how you know it's bad.

At this point I'm starting to believe that Microsoft just wants to ruin Minecraft and turn it into their own crap version

In all honesty, I doubt their 'highly trained' moderation team will even read the messages sent. They'll just get a report, check the username to make sure it isn't a public figure so as not to cause an uproar, and ban them.

There should be NO Microsoft bans AT ALL! Microsoft does not run Minecraft servers, & it should be the decision of the server hosts who they want connecting to THEIR computers & who to ban.

Microsoft & their BS content moderation have no place in that equation. Thats why I propose the creation of a drop in plugin library people can put into their own plugins which would strip user identifiers from chat messages & block all server side reporting functions to Microsoft. This woul essentially put Microsoft in the dark & make it impossible for a local client to verify the authenticity of messages making any client side reports useless.

Yes you can record someone breaking the TOS but how do you verify its actually the person with that username & not someone with a /nick or an admin impersonating another user.

Now imagine if you could convince 20% of plugin devs to paste this code into their plugins, essentially making a resistance where a huge amount of plugins will block Microsoft content moderation & owners don't even know which ones. With every server having like 30 plugins this would essentially kill any attempt at content moderation & put an end of Microsofts crackdowns.

Even if Mojaing banning you was justified, I still think that you should have gotten a chance to appeal. A few years ago, my friend on Hypixel got permanently banned for chargebacking even though it was another player who bought the rank. Thankfully, the appeal system saved him. Sometimes an explanation is needed to justify yourself over a bannable offense and it is a shame that players don't have a chance to do so.

I think a class action lawsuit against MS is warranted. We pay for Minecraft and to use the realms. We have at least some rights. To ban someone without explanation is kafkaesque.

The real joke here is depression, cause Microsoft is about to give it to every Minecraft player

Here's how I think the system should work.
First off, Mojang will NOT implement the system to get banned from the entire game, but rather implement it in popular servers like Hypixel.
Second, players caught violating server rules will recieve a warning up to a permanent ban.
3. This doesn't apply to all server owners, however some of them own YouTube channels. Those ownere can either use the system that Mojang "gave" to them, or they can decide their punishment via a youtube video.

That's absolutely awful, Minecraft's moderation system is a pain already, this makes it worse, apparently if this happens you're completely banned from Xbox Minecraft, even offline worlds are inaccessible, and when they apply this to Java, being banned from MC is being banned from offline AND online play

So many 8-year-old kids are probably gonna get banned just for typing in all caps or saying something dumb kids say and then are going to be permanently locked out of playing, and they cannot do anything, and the parents of said kids who paid money for the game so that their kid can play it will be annoyed because they've essentially been scammed out of their money's worth permanently, all because of some really stupid ban policies.

I am so sorry this happened to you... especially since minecraft costs money, mojang needs to be held accountable for this update

I think Minecraft will just evolve into all players communicating via Discord etc. and no one will use the Minecraft Chat anymore, just to avoid getting banned out of nowhere.

This is the first time I've seen a company ruin a game to a degree where it's comparable to how bad Roblox is. This is essentially *stealing* our money.

Honestly, we really should have seen this coming when the game asked us to create accounts _to play singleplayer._
