I'm a farmer. Listen to this man. My feed bill went up 40% in 2 weeks. My hay bill is going up. Parts for machinery are becoming scarce. We have drought. AGAIN. We are behind planting. This is it, folks. You need to listen. Plant a garden. Manage your money wisely. Learn to preserve food. Be ready to ration.

To help save a money and prepare for the uncertainty of the future, my family and I have started a small backyard garden. We're learning how to homecan, seed save, make compost, and preserve what we grow. Every penny saved helps. Less than 2 years in our new home and we've completely transformed the backyard. We are beginner gardeners, growing and learning along the way. Recently I started a gardening channel to help encourage others to begin growing as well. No time better than now to learn self sufficiency.

I left the city to prepare for everything going on now 3 years ago. Now I live on a small farm with a garden, goats, chickens, horses, and a cow. When I left St. Petersburg 3 years ago I was talking about food shortages, inflation, and financial collapse back then, and people thought I was crazy (especially all my liberal friends.)
No one thinks I'm crazy now. We also have a basement full of dry goods, and tradable items that will be worth a lot more money when shtf. I've spent years combing the shelves at dollars stores and grocery stores for items that are hard to find and useful during hard times. Cheap simple things that people take for granted like zip ties, super glue, and alcohol wipes., etc. All this kind of stuff will be useful for bartering when the shelves run empty.

Average bushel of wheat in 2015, 2016, 2017 was 4.40 per bushel today as I’m typing it 11.62 that’s 200% not 20% why are they lying 🤥

Time for everyone to grow garden and share with those that can't
And stock up on the foods needed
Rice, pasta, flour, several other canned and dried food
Just to feel in control
Stocking my puppy food in case the ingredients can't be found
Much will come from my garden
Fruit and veg and herbs galore

Grow food
Even in pots on porches if you don’t have a yard

It’s on purpose, that’s why they aren’t putting how bad it is on the news!

This is a great time to prepare, and stock up for 12-24 months. It’s a wise idea to buy in bulk, and sit on it Incase there’s a massive food shortage.

Corn averaged around 3.60 from 2015 to 2021 as of this morning its 7.80 that’s not 20% either that over 100% I’m not sure why they lie to us 🤥🤥🤥

I would rather see an edible garden every morning than grass used for my neighbors dog to poop in in front of my yard.

I am in total agreement as my sister and her partner are farmers…the price for fertilizer went up so high and to top it off…some of it was contaminated with some creature bug….so they had to get that corrected…but it costs sooo freaking much to maintain their small farm that I don’t see how they can keep going…and that’s just them….stock up and buy things now you can afford…properly store it…and lay low and reuse everything you can…enjoy that cup of coffee or that delicious salad because you may not get it any longer! Pss…dairy farms are closing very quickly because of the cost of feed for cows and fuel prices to transport the milk…I don’t know about you but an ice cold glass of milk is one of the best treats out there….soon it might be a memory….

Well maybe if we used our landscapers to do gardening instead of landscaping I believe there will be a lot more food around.

The American public has roughly a one or two week memory, an incredibly short attention span and pretty much doesn't look at the future for big problems like, drought, water shortage, food shortage etc. until it is upon us. Then you see the panic buying and violence uptick.
