This is one of the hymns I remember from my childhood, a truly great Welsh Hymn, I was born in North Wales but I now live in NZ and I feel more Welsh now than I ever - So I'm kiwi by marriage and Welsh by the Grace of God! - Cymru am Byth

Finally i found out what the song Calon Lan was about. Lovely hym to hear sung in Welsh. I've managed to also hear it sung in Welsh and read the words in English. Now I understand why it's such a lovely manfull song K.D

Among us Presbyterians in Northeast Indian states of Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam and Manipur this song was perhaps the first song taught to is in Sunday School by the age of 3. It was translated from Welsh to local indigenous dialects by the Welsh Calvinistitic Missiom
