Comparing Chad Reed & Jett Lawrence

Troy Herfoss is an Australian legend when it comes to going fast on the pavement. In 2008 he won the AMA Supermoto Championship before going on to compete full time in the ASBK for Suzuki and Honda. Reed is underrated imo, rc or Stewart couldn’t beat him some days

Had to race Pichon in Europe then stepped in to US and head to head with JS7, then head to head wirth RC amongst others. Jett’s path much much easier so far. Especially this year with injuries to ET and Sexton.

Ehh you can compare Jett to Stewart but reed not really. Reed never had the speed. He always had to take Stewart out to get the lead and the win

You also forget Chad was racing and beating rc in his rookie 250 class year. If Ricky Carmichael is considered the G.O.A.T then you know when there was a time when rc and reed were the fastest around.

Chad reed raced rc and Stewart and won. There hasn't been another generation like it. I like the Lawrence brothers being Australian but Chad had harder competition in there prime.

You can't compare the dominace of rc, reed and Stewart to these sx/mx days.

And Chad went to Europe, won a couple GP's, then came here to America and had to make it against, first RC4, K-Dub, Larocco Sebastian, DV, then throw Stew in, then Villo, Dung, KR94, ET3, Chad's road was way harder, Jett's a bad dude, but Chad paved the way, and as of right now, I think in his Prime Chad would hand Jett his a--, we have to give Jett at least 5yrs and see where he's at before we start crowning him, he may blow by everyone, but then again he might not, only time will tell!!!
