1. Warm up your breasts with a shower or heating pad 2. Massage you breast with a flat hand or knuckles all around, even from your armpit 3. Have the collecting devise near your nipple and a cloth under your breast 4 slowly press down with a flat hand about 2 fingers away from the areola (from whatever direction you "feel" the colostrum sitting)

It takes a few times to understand your breasts and to feel more confident in expressing... btw only a couple minutes per breast for only 2/3 times a day.
