2018 Kone KSS 140 Monospace MRL Traction Elevators @ Homewood Suites, Downtown Louisville, KY.

Taken July 11, 2021. These were the second elevators I filmed on this trip. This is my VERY FIRST Kone KSS 140!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never been on one of these elevators in my life before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These elevators are VERY SMOOTH too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have seen quite a few of these on YouTube and now I finally get to film one myself! I have been wanting to film these kind of elevators for a while now. escandelev has filmed these elevators a couple years ago. These elevators were installed in 2018. They have the new Kone voice! They didn't have the voices in escandelev's video on these so the voices were added on to them at a later date. This is not only my very first Kone KSS 140, this might be the highest one I'll ever film. I have never seen one of these elevators go 8 floors before. This is also the very first Homewood Suites Hotel I ever stayed in! I was EXTREMELY LUCKY to be staying in this hotel. This place was very nice! It was pouring down raining when I checked into this hotel the night before I filmed these elevators. The front desk people literally were reserving a room for me and my family to stay in here. If we didn't arrive at the time we did, the front desk people would've given our room away to someone else that was waiting in the lobby of the hotel when we got here and I would not have had a chance to find these elevators and film these elevators. I stayed on the 5th floor in room 511 which is right next to these elevators! I did forget to where the room was though but I wasn't going to do a room tour because my dad and my brother were in there and I went to the pool right after I recorded these elevators. I am very grateful, very glad, and very happy I got to film these elevators. I LOVE the vandal-resistant buttons and the lanterns on these! The chime in the lobby is super quiet, you can barely hear it in this video. It's really cool how you can see up the shaft on these elevators. I did catch the right elevator going up when I looked at the interlock and up the shaft on the left elevator. These are Monospace because they go 8 floors, they are Ecodisc, and they go 350 FPM. The rear floors were locked on the left elevator and I show the indicator displaying "call locked" which you will see in the video. Notice how much smaller than COP in the right elevator is compared to the COP in the left elevator. The reason why I stopped on 7 in that elevator was because someone who had gotten off the elevator before I got on it hit 7 with noticing I guess. I did not mean to capture that hotel man's face when I reached the top on the right elevator. I ended up capturing his face in the video because I didn't know he was getting on to go down with us. The good part about that is that he was fine with me filming these elevators. So anyway, subscribe and enjoy!

That looks older than 2018; the Brailles number font are seven segment style. This was installed in 2015.
