My homemade cat toy is the Amazon boxes duct taped together in a creative way.

One of my cats has PICA so I always have to alter toys so she doesn't start eating things, even if it means making the toys less fun for the other 2 who don't have pica. I found materials that can easily be pulled out of her mouth (in case she outsmarts me) are best, like thick ribbons, which don't get caught in her tongue. TT of course it's always a challenge when you have a cat with PICA so I'm always looking out for toys she won't try to instantly chew apart. Please recommend! (and yes, I make sure to put up anything she could eat instantly)

My cat was a feral kitten, so her first (and still favourite) toys are: half of a walnut shell (I put treats in it and tell her "treats in your walnut!" and she goes right over to get them 😂), and a big stick tied with baler's twine at the end and a small end branch with dried leaves on it. So it's a wand toy but with leaves and she loves chasing it and the satisfying crunch of them and I don't mind her chewing them 😂

I've been collecting bottle caps lol. I saw this activity that I want to try. Get a cookie sheet and fill it with water. Take a few bottle caps (preferably different types and sizes) and put them on the water to float. Put treats in the caps and see if your cat is interested. (Probably best to supervise cats during this so they don't eat the bottle caps), but it looks fun. Simba especially, I expect to go right in there for the treats😂

Expensive toys, doesn't play. Lint roller paper all linty, roll up sheet into a ball, and best toy evar!

My cats favorite toy (doesn’t like play but this is the only one she shows any interest in) ever since I got my pretty girl she’s been fascinated with hair ties, so I got a covered wire tied it around the hair tie and use it as a wand toy 😅

For anyone who doesn’t know…if you glue your skin together with super glue, nail polish removal is a miracle instant fix! Just FYI ❤
