"She's keeping three people alive at the moment." Extremely uplifting words.

there is still sadness in his eyes .... that is the thing about death, you do not forget, but you learn to live with it :/

He trained Batman, he trained Anakin Skywalker, he's played God.

But the guy is still human.

My goodness, what a brave man. The fact that he acknowledged that donating Natasha’s organs was keeping 3 people alive made me admire him even more. Incredible human being. I am so deeply sorry for his loss even to this day. Respect ✊🏽

Organ donation is a beautiful gift that brings light in the wake of tragedy.

This is why I love Liam Neeson so much! Not only is he a great person and great actor but he is also very real and he isn't afraid to show anyone who he truly is inside. He has a big, caring heart and he is very on par with a lot of the characters he has played. Such an inspiration.

This changed my attitude towards organ donation.

I wonder if those 3 people that received her organs know who the organs came from...what a wonderful gift Natasha has given those lucky people! May God bless Mr. Neeson for giving those people the gift of life when he was in such a very depressed state.

My best friend had his funeral yesterday after suffering brain damage from falling off the roof at a job site.. its hard to comprehend how easily life can change in the blink of an eye and even harder to except the fact that you'll never hear there voice again. I give him credit for speaking on such a fragile subject and I hope he heals from his wounds. .

Whether you are famous or not, I can't imagine the pain of having to see your loved one in a vegetative state. Just by looking at this interview, you can tell that he loves and misses his wife so much.

A very pragmatic and touching attitude. The fact that three people are alive today because of her really should make him proud. Like so many (although not enough), I am an organ donor. I won't need my heart, kidneys, liver, cornea's or skin (yes, even skin can be donated, IRS used for burns victims) so someone might as well have use for them.

Natasha Richardson was an esteemed and exemplary actor.  She also was a wonderful and generous person, supporting AIDS research and other charities.  Her physical beauty was beyond compare, and her inner beauty shined through in a way that made everyone love her, even if they didn't know her.

this is so difficult to deal with. at first you think keeping someone connected to life support and machines means they’re alive and you wanna hold on to hope, but they’re not there anymore. being brain dead means dead…. took me 8 years to understand this when i lost someone the same way. i can really relate to the pain and sadness in his eyes, such a brave person

 Very touching.

I'm a registered organ donor as well, I see it as my last ditch effort at improving the world, having someone else possibly living on by using organs from my body... nothing would give me greater satisfaction.

I never knew grief could sound so matter of fact. That’s true love.

As a widower I applaud his composure. It’s hard to talk about their final moments.
