Adnan, on bir yıl önce eşini kaybedince, sosyal hayattan uzaklaşıp köşküne çekilmiş, bütün ilgisini kızı Nihal ve oğlu Bülent’e vermiştir. Aile yadigâri emektarları, çocukların yarı Fransız dadısı ve hamiliğini yaptığı uzak akraba çocuğu Behlül ile İstanbul’un en önemli yalılarından birinde yaşayan Adnan Bey, yine İstanbul’un tanınmış ailelerinden Melih Bey takımından Firdevs Hanım’ın kızı Bihter’le yıllar sonra tekrar karşılaştıktan sonra, unuttuğu duyguları yeniden hatırlamaya, kış ortasında baharı filizlendirmeye başlar.

bana yardım et 😭😭😭I just watched and finished Aşk-ı Memnu for the first time, and I have no words… just raw raw raw pain. 💔😭😭😭 Nothing could have prepared me for that ending. Bihter, Canım, you didn’t deserve this brutal ending to your life. She was abandoned, betrayed, suffocated by everyone around her, and in the end, she was left with nothing but her own heartbreak. Her only mistake was that she truly fell in love, when behlul was adamant with moving on with Nihal, in hopes of "purifying himself" from their sin, I hoped Bihter would abandon and leave everything behind, relocate to another country, recover from this broken heart, but her pure heart kept coming back to and pursuing behlul . She was truly broken bitanem 💔

and Behlül? screw him. A coward, A selfish, weak, pathetic man. May you suffer wherever you are Behlul bey! He was never worthy of Bihter, and in the end, he proved it. He ruined her life and destroyed her and then had the audacity to break down at her graveyard like he was the victim. He wasn’t. He deserves every ounce of misery that follows him. I don’t care about his guilt. May he be miserable for life.

And Nihal? Yeter Artık I have never despised a character more, self-centered, jealous, egoistic, insecure, spoiled, selfish, delusional, annoying, The way she had the privilege of being coddled and protected while Bihter had to suffer and cry herself to sleep all because she fell in love and the man she fell in love with decided to please the spoiled child. She had everything handed to her, and yet she still whined and cried like the world owed her more. Screw you nihal.

Seeing Firdevs's state after bihter's tragic death broke me to pieces. Seeing her in that helpless, silent state made me burst into tears. The same woman who once controlled everything, now sitting there, unable to speak, unable to do anything but grieve the daughter she somehow failed. She tried to help Bihter in those last few episodes, she loved and truly cared for her daughter despite their differences.
