Chinese army veteran returns to China after 54 years in India

Chinese army veteran Wang Qi has arrived in Beijing after being trapped in India for the past 54 years. Accompanied by his family members, 78-year-old Wang boarded a flight from New Delhi. Wang said he can't wait to see his relatives and friends in his hometown Xianyang in Shaanxi Province.

I respect that Indian village which gave an enemy army personnel a nice family and sustained him for 54 years This can only happen in India

This is one of the most emotional moments one can expect in the life. In my view wang hi is a real war hero. He had a wonderful family in a foreign land and now he is alive to return to his home land. Now he is 78 and what I wish him a happy and healthy long life. He will rest in peace once he enjoys the fullest blessings. I look forward to see him come to India once again. His real home country. Thanks guys❤️

I met a Chinese cab driver during my visit to malaysia and on my way to Lord Buddha temple. He had warm feelings about India and he told me that if Indian brain and chinese daring come together then west will fall. I agree with him but on the other hand seeing current developments i have little to no expectation of it ever happening.
