Indian judiciary is dead....in civil courts it taken takes 15 -20 years(nearly a generation) for a land dispute case to get settled ....and take example of unnav and nirbaya case...is judiciary sleeping...? The answer is very simple ...judges send there children to foreign countries and they are safe ....it doesn't hurt them because it's not there children .... they see themselves as superpower humans....the recent events are the alarming bells for judiciary ...if they don't awake .... people will lose hope in judiciary and start obtaining Justice the way they require and throw stones and slippers towards this superpower humans

The same police who is being hailed as heroes, had refused to file a missing persons report for the same girl, the night of rape saying that she must have run away with some guy. Although we are sure that this time they have killed the right criminals. But if this is encouraged then police might make this a trend and might kill wrong people, without going to the depth of case, just like in Delhi school kid's murder case, where they initially forced the bus driver to confess. Later only CBI proved that the boy was killed by another senior student of same school.

People have lost faith in the law & judicial system. It takes ages and moreover there is no guarantee that justice would be served.

Speak with any common man & you will get an answer. Powerful people are not affected, only the common man becomes the victim. You are saying this as your business will be shut down. Moreover since you are on the other side of the fence, you don't know the pain & anger of the family members of the victims who are undergoing through the same. Would you be speaking the same language if someone in your family is the victim?

Is there any case in India where verdict were quick. I see none..

Yes, it is difficult for people to openly support specially when they hold important & top post in the law & order / judicial system... But deep within you, you know very well what your conscience says...

I agree with you sir. But this state of affairs only brings about the angst people have against the existing system. Please push for Judicial and police reforms, new appointments in the empty posts in both judiciary and police. And increasing the salaries of police personnel, better training should be given to them regarding handling of crimes against women and children with special emphasis on gender sensitization.
