That's my kind of music, right there! Thanks, Ben!

The SV-2 is such an intriguing instrument. Maybe I'm just not remembering correctly, but aside from the default piano on the Grandstage (which sounded great), I don't remember the other acoustic pianos on the Grandstage sounding as good as these do. (Which is weird, because I don't remember anyone saying that these are new samples.)

I love the flexibility that the editor adds to the SV-2 — although it would be nice if Korg offered an iPad version of the editor (especially since it would be risky to set a laptop on top of the SV-2's curved surface). And it would be nice if you could create layers and splits straight from the keyboard itself. (That's one area where the Grandstage excels.) Apart from that, though, the SV-2 sure sounds sweet! (And the Korg RH3 key action is one of my favorites.)

That phase Rhodes is the best, the main thing I miss about my SV-1.

Do you notice a big difference in running these piano sounds in mono (as most of my live performances wind up being in mono) Of course I'm assuming you still get the stereo reference of the built in speakers (to some extent) while performing life if you have them on (uh... and if you have the unit with the speakers which I just got - its been on back order since April, 2022!).

Hey! I'm looking to get headphones for the korg sv2. Can someone please recommend me a pair that won't leak much noise but that still feel very airy/spacious when listening to them? So basically closed back that are as close to open back headphones feel.. I want a wide and natural sound with great separation but not too flat that I don't enjoy playing the piano.. I've heard some headphones have an issue with "string residence" sound. Any recommendations under $200 ? Thanks!
