Processing a 50 minute video in 4k. So far, it has taken 12 hours and it is still on the HD Process. I came here because I was worried about the fact that my video will not be uploaded, but I learned it just takes time. Thank you for the help!

uploaded 24 mins 4K video in WEBM format.. it's been 3 and a half hours and it's still processing HD version... I don't know when it's gonna finish processing but I feel like it's gonna take forever! 😂

Thank you ! It's 2022, but YouTube still takes a long time to process even a short 1 hour 4K video.

I feel like it depends greatly on which day and time of day that it is uploaded. I've had 4K 10 minute videos take anywhere from 3 hours to 24 hours to fully process. Weekends seem to take longer to process. Must be a limit to their hardware as more videos are uploaded on weekends compared to weekdays.

I had a 3:44 video that took an hour and 15 mins to process the standard definition version. but it might have been because the computer was using wasn't the best.

This made me think of the big tech youtubers out there uploading 4k 10 min videos just about daily, like Linus Tech Tips. Like how solid their schedule are on making the video that they managed to have time to upload and process their videos.

Mine was a 44 min 4K 30Fps video, it literally took an entire day just processing in HD and 4k. Slept, woke up next day, and bam! It was set!

Ideally, it would of been much more helpful to show the times, that are more relevant to actual Video file sizes/length. For instance, a 4K video that's 30 mins long, also for 1080p
