The Ballad is really good actually!! Being in Snow's head is a little jarring but it is a really good insight into the evolution of the games.

I loved the dartboard concept! you could use the dartboard as a random number generator next time, e.g., if the number of the area you land on is 17 then you pick the 17th book off your tbr cart

I read Ballad the week prior to Sunrise, and I promise you, it is really, really good! And it does make sense to read the series chronologically. Sunrise links Ballad and the original Hunger Games really well! I am currently rereading Catching Fire now!

I absolutely loved the ballad of songbirds and snakes! People just didn't want to read from his pov because he's the villain in hunger games. But the book is literally showing how he became that kind of person. I think you'll like it

This was so fun 💕 The Story Collector is on my March TBR! I think it could be fun to print out little photos of the books for the dartboard and then actually try and aim for the ones you want 😂

I LOVED the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, I suppose you do need to like books were the main character is unlikable/the villain though. It was so cool seeing the Hunger Games in the early stages and being in the Capital’s perspective ☺️
