this is why T7S is ahead of its time, i got goosebumps when the beat started to play and made me emotional still no one can compare. NCT has one of the unique concepts ngl SM definitely didn't come to play when it comes to concepts it will always a serve.

VIDEO EXPLANATION:

For those that don’t understand… this video is takes us back to the NCTmentary during Empathy Era. Basically NCT is based on the idea of the members being connected through sharing the same dream. The NCTmentary talks about the members sharing the same brainwaves and connecting their hopes and passions. The title of the video “The 1st Encounter” is Sungchan and Shotaro’s 1st experience with dreaming about NCT or dreaming about becoming NCT. TY senses them coming into NCT’s shared dream and says “this time 2” while we see Sungchan and Shotaro literally descending stairs. This represents 2 more members that have been sucked into NCT’s shared brainwaves of connected dreams.

Then we see TY with the sand and flashes of an hourglass representing the destruction of time. Confirming that we are now in the dream world. Basically Shotaro comes across the 7th sense “video” or world.. we can tell by him discovering the red light through the crack in the wall. This means that Shotaro began to dream about becoming a NCT member after seeing the 7th Sense MV. Notice that Taro is watching behind a closed door.. remember that Taro used to be the biggest NCT fanboy making NCT dance cover videos on tiktok before getting scouted by SM. He was watching them at a distance as a fan or behind a closed door.

Sungchan is mimicking TY’s actions with the whistle. Meaning that Sungchan dreamt of becoming a NCT member after seeing TY (and wanting to be like him… mimicking his actions). We know that Sungchan was a trainee with Jungwoo, so he’s not behind a closed door here. He was able to admire TY from a close distance. But interestingly TY has the whistle and he’s the leader of 127 and the leader of all of NCT… coaches of sport teams also have whistles… this could represent that Sungchan will be the leader of whatever new NCT unit he will be in later. Him blowing the whistle is him accepting he role as a leader.

EDIT: the super quick flash of the pile of tv/computer screens… in the NCTMENTARY that represents the members brainwaves with them being piled on each other representing the connection of their brainwaves. Here the quick flash means that Sungchan and Shotaro’s brainwaves have now been connected with the others.

Hope this helps.. this video literally gave me goosebumps. I highly recommend you go back and watch the entire NCTMENTARY if you haven’t. A SM insider said that NCT Universe era will be heavily biased on Empathy.. it will basically be a continuation of Empathy.

"This time...two". It's related with the big brand (NCT), the newest members and Taeyong is the one who "lead their way", the one who help them to open the door to the "dream" (NCT concept). Lee Taeyong is the Big Boss, everyone, he is the beginning of all this NCT thing. The main character from the start! (so the one in The Origin video is really Taeyong) 😊

And why 7th Sense? Because that's their 1st song to open all of this concept (check the Synchronization of your dream video)

I think I clearly get what this video all about. SungTaro haven't introduced yet properly (like having their own units). So maybe SM will debut a new unit or maybe a duo? (i don't know really). They use The 7th Sense because they have two new members having the same dream and the song The 7th Sense is the one connects them (in terms of music and dream). If you'll look up to the lyrics of The 7th Sense there's a line saying "Gateun kkum machi nal bureuneun
Iksukhan norae machimnae yeongyeoldwae" or in English "In the same dream I hear a familiar
Song that calls to me, it connects us" like probably every new members calling is the song The 7th Sense. You'll notice that Shotaro already hears something from the other side and when he opened the door The 7th Sense was played. So maybe they are hinting us that this comeback SungTaro will have their respective units.

Taeyong is the main character, he sensed new members coming. Sungchan and Shotaro are finally gonna synchronize their dreams with the rest of NCT members.

And for those who debating whether the child is Taeyong or Winwin, my answer is gonna be Taeyong! Winwin in The Origin simply hinting he saw the vision about Taeyong and later on he joined NCT Vision/WayV. Also, Winwin in Without You MV acted like the time traveler. And what WayV did is take off, take over the moon, turning back time, awaken. That's my theory.

I'm gonna say SM is truly genius, they had wide and long-term plan for NCT since then and for the future, and they truly nailed it with the help of nct members as a whole. NCT is the basis for "New Culture Technology" introduced by SM, and then they created Neo Culture Technology (NCT) as the pillar for that. Imagine the burden of nct members to carry out the first system ever to happen in kpop world, with limitless members and keep on growing. Not to say the more burden and pressure the newer members is since they will debut in an experienced group under the name of nct, instead of debuting in a whole different new group. And imagine how good and skilled they have to be, to be debuted under nct where when they perform with nct members, you'll get that nct feels in them (if u know what i mean). I'll always be here supporting each one of them till the end. They set the standard. Periodt.
