Does the Blazer EV’s range make up for its downsides? Let us know what you think in the comments.

That tiny gap in price between the Lyriq and Blazer is a gap GM is simply hoping consumers won't notice. Great to point out.

$60k for the Tesla? I just bought mine a month ago. $48K before taxes. I guess they're including the $12K for FSD Beta, but that's silly to do that. The Tesla is way cheaper and is why GM is having such a hard time selling EVs.

I like the Blazer allot, and it's my favorite of the group, but I CAN NOT see myself paying 60k for 288hp... just can't do it. And with you all pointing out the Cadillac at 62k for 500hp, that would be my choice of the two.

the ONE thing that i like about tesla above all the other car makers is that you can use the cameras as a security system standard in the car... I have yet to see that on any other electric car.... suprised no one is pointing that out especially with cars being stolen. Kia and Hyundai have this stigma attached to them with the "stolen" car challenge so that may take a minute to subside.

Nice review. But I will still pick the long-range Model Y. Without FDS, it is in the mid 40k after rebate. And can tow pretty well, unlike the Hyundai

Did he say Tesla model y is 60k? It is 49k. Why would you add a FSD option?

Isn’t the Model Y now only like $48k after all the price drops? What is the blazer sized battery size used in order to get that kind of range compared to the others?

Why no mention of Federal Tax Credit qualifications?

It sounds like you added FSD to blow up your price. Without it the Y would have undercut the other 2 so dramatically it would have been a slaughter. Also the Tesla network is available now. If you buy the other 2 you have to stay close to home and can’t travel.

Was that a older than 2023 Model Y with 19 inch wheels, this year has a much more comfortable ride, older models especially with 21 inch wheels were astoundingly rough ride!

Soooo, for another $2000 the Tesla model Y can be upgraded to a 4.2 second 0-60 time. not to mention the model Y performance that is significantly faster than the other two. Why does Edmonds hate Tesla?

How about telling why the blazer has a longer range?
I have the answer because it Hass a bigger battery not because is more efficient

... you added a 12K option (full self driving) that most people don't get to the Tesla to make it priced similarly to the others, then put it in last place. Wouldn't "It's 12K cheaper" be a reason to get, or at least consider, the Model Y? If the other two are so clearly better, why don't/won't they sell? You seem out of touch here.

only 288hp for the price tag of 60k? That’s barely more than the standard range 30-40k Tesla model 3😂

How come with all these huge screens in the Blazer or most Evs in general, car manufacturers aren't providing streaming content like Tesla. Youtube, Netflix, Disney etc.. is a great option to have while charging on long trips. Does anyone know of any other Evs with streaming services other than Tesla?

If you want or need CarPlay or Android Auto then The Honda Prologue is basically the same EV as the Blazer EV and comes with both CarPlay and Android Auto. GM builds the Honda Prologue EV and Acura ZDX EV on the Blazer EV platform. All three are the same vehicle underneath.

Blazer looks amazing but for 3k more, I want the Lyriq's 500hp and glass roof

Wow! This is the most reasonable Edmunds EV video I've seen yet. Tends to hate on Tesla... Good things about all of them. Choice comes down to preference, price and possibly convenience of charging. Still insane to say only reason to get a Tesla would be the charging network. More storage space, cheaper, better tech, safer, great Soundsystem, awesome OTA updates and more...
