I wanted to make a study guide series for GED math that covers everything you need to know to pass in just 2-3 videos, and this is the first in that series.

Please note that I can’t guarantee that just by watching the videos in this series you’ll be ready to pass, but I want to give you my best shot. It’s up to you to decide if you need more practice and lessons after that (many test-takers probably will need additional work), but the potential to pass just based on the videos in my study guide series is there if you understand everything. If you're aiming for a very high score, this video will still be helpful for you, but please be prepared to put in some extra work outside of these videos.

On the second equation of the line question I’m not sure how you got 2x+6 I wish you could have done it the other way subtracting 2 from each side so I could’ve understood

At 39:06 you said the equation y+2= 2(x+3) becomes y+2= 2x+6... how did you get the 6 from the 3? what did you do to change it to a 6 and why?

Hi, ive watched all three of your GED videos. I feel like i have a good understanding of the concepts. my goal is a 165. Do you think i can achieve that knowing the math problems you covered in these videos?

For #9) I think the confusing part is where you said subtract 5 from both side but not exactly subtracting 5 on the right side.
When it's written it became y=-5 + 1, instead of really taking the -5 subtrating 1, can you explain why is it that way?
