Question Period: Natural resource development bills, universal pharmacare — June 12, 2019

Today in Question Period the Trudeau government faced debate on a pair of pending bills that will regulate natural resources development. Bill C-69 will attempt to rewrite the rules for approving major national resource projects in Canada and Bill C-48 would place a ban oil tankers along B.C.'s northern coast. The government also faced questions from the NDP on pharmacare after a government appointed panel called for the establishment of a universal, single-payer public system.

All I can say is that under Harper I was working steady and actually had an over abundance of work. Since Trudeau took over I’ve seen drilling rig jobs diminish and not to mention I myself have been out of work since early November. I sure hope the next election goes our way, and we see this guy out of office and one his way.

Every time he says that's what Canadian's want I get enraged. 60% of the people that voted did not vote Liberal. Only 60% of eligible voters registered a vote. This means 24% of eligible voters voted Liberal. This hardly qualifies him to claim he speaks for all Canadians.

Amazing to see so many people who still put "faith" or believe in this method of debate.
I don't understand how people genuinely believe this gives them a "voice" or means of change.
It is pointless to have such a platform with these juvenile adults who do EVERYTHING in their power to circumvent or work around the rules of engagement and guideline which are there for good reasons.
Not to mention that these "discussions" are an illusion of sorts intended to lull you into believing you are actively engaging the "problems"... but this nonsense is next to irrelevant while using EFFECTIVENESS as your metric. It is like chewing bubble gum to solve math problems... ...
How many decades, centuries is it going to take of repeating the same mistakes over and over? In a digital age we can no longer use the excuse of repeating history because it is forgotten.
