The Lord of the Rings || The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien || Book review

Показать описание
Since I imagine I might take some flak for this, when I talk about this book, I am talking specifically about the book from its own merits, for what it is, how it is actually written, how the description is, how the characters are, how the plot is, etc., NOT how special people view the book, not what the book means historically or what it means for the fantasy genre, etc. I don't care how acclaimed a book is or how nostalgic it is for people, I look at whether I think the writing is good or not and whether I enjoy reading the book as it actually is, as if I was reading it for the first time having never heard the name The Lord of the Rings or J.R.R. Tolkien.
