I can still remember my first confession. I was given my penance and as I sat in my car saying the prayers I was crying because I knew He had forgiven me even before doing the penance- and that I didn’t deserve it. His love and forgiveness are incomprehensible.

Yesterday I practised what fr.mike taught in the catechism in a year. He said that the Word "snow" is sign for the reality snow. By saying the sign snow we communicate the reality snow to someone. In the same way, every sign in the holy mass is a way of communicating with god. As I realized what this meant I worshiped in todays and yesterdays Holy Mass like never before. I am also an Altar Server in the church. So it was an incredible experience for me. Thank God.

The sacraments most definitely make a difference! You don’t notice the difference until you stop going to church and start going again. Totally makes resisting sin 1000X easier I can attest to this.

I love the disclaimer about being paranoid😂 I can really relate. I find myself being paranoid about my faith a lot, especially when I don't feel close to God. I am struggling a lot with doubt in my faith and whenever that happens there's this feeling of not doing things right, not being a good Christian, good Catholic. I'm afraid that my will to do things right, to really believe won't be enough. But a realisation came into my mind- If I stay faithful God is gonna help me with this. It's not like I'm alone and I have to do everything perfectly right to then finally get to the point when I can deserve God's love.

I think it is being mindful of each thing we are doing, which is how we should always be. I try not to let my mind wander at mass and think of the things I'm going to say in confession. I'm still working on this, it's a constant struggle, but I ask The Blessed Mother to help and I believe she is. God Bless. Claire.

I talk to my Father throughout the day. I thank him for his profound gifts, I tell him my problems. I ask him for help. I ask him to be more open to accepting his love. I ask him to live within me always. I feel him beside me, around me, with me. Mass and the sacraments shape and strengthen our bond and love, they are completely essential for the most important relationship I will ever have to stay strong and grow.

Sometimes our own pride can provide us a million reason why our why is the "right way" but it is because our hearts have become hardened that it blinds the eyes to what is clearly in front of us. Once you realize you are not in control of your life then you can truly start living.

I needed this. Been having a rough couple weeks. Losing money and having self inflicted mistakes. Pray everyday and feel like nothing happens, but I know if I open up even more and trust in the Lord and his ways over mine then there is something bigger and better than I can even imagine.
