You wonder how often creation myths were developed as part of an agenda, such as man being formed first, woman formed from him, (as well as being responsible for the introduction of sin), and then man being given dominion over animals. Puts man at the top of the food chain, so to speak, where he has remained. However, in so many of the Indigenous creation myths of North America, the animal beings were responsible for creating the world, and two-leggeds were incidental to the process.

Everyone likes to think human sacrifice is this ancient archaic practice long done away with

Yet here we are, in modern age, in the current major world powers, worshipping "justice" and in select districts carrying out a ritual in service of that "justice" where humans kill other captive humans.

Simply that we call it "lethal injection", "firing squad" or other, does not change it's core nature.

Simply that the deity "justice" is more of a concept than an entity does not change that this deity is collared and held on a leash by the rich and powerful, toted about as if to make us believe that the ritual human sacrifice (lethal injection, et al.) carried out is in service to this deity, rather than the truth that it serves the rich and powerful.

The behavioral patterning similarities cannot be denied even if we rebrand it all with different words and supposedly dissociate the religious component.

Even the casualties of war can be recognized as ritualistic human sacrifice. It's planned, coordinated, repeated behaviors that occur on the commonly termed "theatre", which results in humans killing humans, which arguably requires some degree of devotion, of fanaticism, of sociopathic zeal, whether for killing or for obedience to a higher power (even if just "commanding officer" or "paycheck") to carry out.

But... i massively digress and need to restart this podcast 😂😅
