Thanks for getting more technical than 98% of people out there explaining how these units work. I was missing a few small but important details to really understand the basics of how they do what they do. Looking forward to more in depth knowledge in the future.

This is the best explanation yet. Thanks

I worked in Sweden where geothermal is very commonly added to existing backyards . The most common is a single vertical bore hole along with a domestic hot water generator. Most single family houses especially the newer builds have basement mechanical rooms that are very impressive. It’s mostly radiators and baseboard heating for super comfortable environments. Also most cites have district heating and cooling that’s why the streets in Stockholm are always torn up.

This explanation was perfect, thanks!|

I have a 900sqft cottage I wanna make as efficient as possible, and this looks better than a Minisplit. Plus there is almost no footprint or having to convert central air to something else.

Great video. Never heard of this concept until I read that the 2024 Paris Olympic Village is being cooled via Geothermal Cooling. This is definitely an option to consider. Thank you!

Thank you. THis was really thorough even for 'basic' and cleared up a few things I hadn't known I hadn't known.

Excellent demo sir! Too many others still trying to "sell" the concept. I'm sold. What are the components? You answered that. Thanks!

Really great video! I’ve got a drilling company down in Panama and have been looking at expanding into offering geothermal cooling as it is almost non existent down here and this was a great introduction for me.

Very nice video, made it easy for me to understand. Thank you.

Great summary and comparison. Clear and useful.
I'm going to go look but a nice run through of how a geothermal unit is intended to run during winter vs summer would be great as well. (IE - in winter, does it just run constantly or does it cycle on an off based on hitting the desired temp from the thermostat, etc.)

The way things are going in the world right now, that may only be a few years.
Great video as always.

Great video..I'm from Florida and we don't see many geo thermals, but I got a mansion on the beach that has geo...it's just like a pool heater.

Great video and good choice of geo brand!

Great video. How does the inside unit look if you have two zones; whereas in traditional Air to Air, you would need two separate units?

I thought of a simple geothermal concept, design your condenser to with an open bottom and feed air through an earth loop. The coil would need to be horizontal and the condenser fan a little more robust, but I would think it would seldom if ever need defrost as the earth would be able to condition the air.

Maintenance? Pricing for replacement parts? Comparison or cost to work on ? How do you filter the water ?

Great video. Glad to see new content. Do you think as we chase higher and higher efficiency, the industry will move to geothermal? What is the average compression ratio on geothermal?
