Why is everyone saying that the plot will suck just based off of a teaser? The point of a teaser is NOT to reveal big plot elements, so I anticipate there being much more to the story than is presented here.

Honestly, it's not a reboot. Terminator Salvation was a new beginning to the franchise, but also a sequel. This new film seems to function as both a sequel and a reboot of sorts because it takes from the previous films and expands upon them, making them better than what was seen in the original films. It also reminds me of a Terminator comic that has an older Kyle Reese in another time and the one sent back through time to protect Sarah still alive after the original Terminator was destroyed, and being taken away to a facility that was also doing research on the destroyed robot, saved later by Sarah and company. It was between 2029 and 1984, I believe. I got the comic from Borders before they went out of business.

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that this looks like nothing more than a complete remake of the first Terminator, featuring the different Terminators from sequels to the original.  I was hoping that it would be some really cool new story.  Oh well.  I'll still watch it, but I'm thinking I'll wait until this hits DVD.

Looks like a really bad fan film.  The T-1000 looks like garbage. And don't say the special effects aren't ready.  The trailer shouldn't have showed off so much of the T-1000 if it wasn't ready. Especially the close ups. Star Wars 7 was the perfect example of a teaser done right. This is the complete opposite.

This looks extremely terrible. I'm one of the few people who've been very forgiving of the other sequels, but this trailer showed no new ideas what so ever. I know people gave Terminator Salvation a lot of crap, but at least with that film they tried something new. Salvation was in a new setting, it had new characters and robots, and it was the only one that didn't involve time travel. And even then it was just average.

Lots of special effects, looks the same as Terminator 2 and almost no Arnold in it, this is junk! :( I always buy Arnold movies but I don't buy this. I think he has a couple of minutes role in this movie.
