Jeff Sessions loses bid for his old Senate seat

President Trump is claiming victory in some of yesterday's closely-watched congressional primaries. In Alabama, Mr. Trump's former Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, lost a runoff for his old Senate seat to the Trump-backed former Auburn University coach Tommy Tuberville. This election is good news for Democrats and Biden. Why? If 80% the Republicans support Trump, then the election should have been 80% other guy, 20% or less for the Sessions. But it was 40% to 60% . Or 20% more than expected for sessions. The democrat senator in Alabama will stay in his seat.
