Well, if Blinken declared that Gershkovich was wrongfully detained, Russia should release him right away…because that’s how everything works.

I hope that they can negotiate a release soon. He's just a journalist. It's getting to where a journalist can't even do their job anymore. I still remember what happened in Jonestown. 🥀

Yes, he needs to be freed from Russia, but at the same time that journalist should have never been there to begin with. Did both Evan and the Wall Street Journal think about risks before letting Evan go into Russia forgetting that Vladimir Putin is capable of anything?
