I booked an apartment through airbnb at a rate of 1k/month. However I used credit card points and was able to get the total down to about $500/month. The appartment's amenities included a washer, stove, refrigerator, microwave, bathroom, shower and study area. There are cheaper options such as single rooms with shared facilities, those typically hang around the $400~$600 range.

At first I was giving myself about $20/day but eventually started to make meals at home to save more.

I booked my flight about 5 months in advance. From my location to Seoul ticket prices range from $1300-$1600

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: There will never be an exact answer as to what your budget should be, it will always vary case by case. Some stuff you should consider when planning out a budget include:

- what amenities do I want in my accommodation
- how long am I staying for
- t money
- how much will I shop
- will you eat out or at home
- what activities do you want to do

omggg I just saw your video on EF and this was recommended to me! I studied at Konkuk in 2022 for an entire semester. Regarding the accommodation I can say that at least for Konkuk the dorm was alright - especially for the price! (just below 500k won per month I think) Some language students stayed in the dorm with us as well.
