First time I am disagreeing with you.

Jaguar is a brand. When you become a brand it's the company's duty to protect its pride and name. A car's logo is a very sensitive topic. When a car brand is famous directly it's logo is famous. Even kids used to recognise Jaguar from its logo (both old and new) but now it will be difficult to get a street impression and will just look like ‘Grand Vitara' types.
