Hercules fighting Achelous transformed into a snake

François-Joseph Bosio's Hercules fighting Achelous transformed into a snake (Hercule combattant Achéloüs métamorphosé en serpent) draws its subject from Ovid's Metamorphoses. Achelous, the patron deity of the Acheloos River, the largest river of Greece, was Heracles' rival suitor for the love of Deïaneira, daughter of Oeneus king of Calydon. Depending on the telling, Acehlous transformed either into a snake or a serpent to battle, but he loses in both versions. This bronze version was cast by Carbonneaux in 1824 and commissioned by King Charles X of France. A plaster model was exhibited at the Salon of 1814.

There is a lot of phonies in this community I thought you said you guys were religious but you're afraid of beasts and snakes and stuff just because you're in disbelief add a fear of the nine what you know is real doesn't make you right you are really selfish to use the body and the mind that is not yours you ought to be ashamed of yourself in the end your end will be like a horror movie because you're not even in thought process to say am I the body the small Toe with your brain power you're tripping that's the spirit it's automatic that's the blessing that you don't deserve that we all God because all the text is just one righteous person we all become blessed from that person but we have a track record of actually being narcissistically hating on those that are way better than us and I mean morally but they will come but one of these days because I'm making sure of it that those that have morals will not hesitate to take your life in defending the Lord because I think that's one of the biggest lies they tell you to be the good to defend the kingdom of righteousness your opponents don't believe what you believe and they will drag you by your hair wherever they're going in for as long as they want to because to them this is life and death and you think this is a video game I believe God has the most highly trained the most highly qualified guardians of angels don't even have the awareness to appear and disappear and communicate at a distance that is only if you have exposed those parts of yourself to something bigger than yourself
