This carnivore diet money saving hack is for how to choose the best ribeye steaks for your carnivore keto lifestyle! There are 2 main parts to the ribeye steak, the eye and the cap. The cap meat bring the most coveted, moist, juicy, delicious part of your ribeye steak. That being said, you want to choose the ribeye steaks with the biggest cap section. See my YES/NO examples in the video to see what to look for in a good ribeye steak with a lot of cap meat. Sometimes Costco will separate the eye and cap meat of Prime ribeye steaks and sell them separately for the same price per pound. I typically see this around holidays. This is good because you can get ALL cap meat for same price as the eye, however the downside is that when the cap is separated from the eye it’s so tender and marveled that the cap typically doesn’t hold together well for grilling and doesn’t cook as even as a full ribeye with eye and cap attached. My name is Paul and I started the carnivore diet at 212.4lbs and lost weight rapidly now for the past 6 months to where I'm not around 155lbs. I am a Dad, Husband, Entrepreneur that started carnivore lifestyle to see it would improve my mental performance and help with health issues, however it ended up giving me so much more. I used to think that people who did carnivore diet were low carb fanatics doing it purely to make fun of vegans get attention online, which is hilarious, but I guess it's not just a joke because it's been amazing for me :) I got started because one day while scrolling YouTube I ran across a Joe Rogan experience podcast on @joerogan with Joe and @JordanBPeterson discussing Jordan's carnivore diet journey. They also talked about Jordan's daughter @mikhaila and her Lion diet version of carnivore. Then I picked up The Carnivore Code by Dr. Paul Saladino @Paulsaladinomd on Audible to learn how to do this effectively. During my daily lunch breaks I would watch videos by @KenDBerryMD and @ThomasDeLauerOfficial and @ShawnBakerMD to learn more about how to make this work and here I am, down 57lbs, sharing my carnivore lifestyle.

Choose the ribeyes with the most inter muscular fat. Not the largest cap lol

Completely disagree. It's all preference. If you want to eat more fat, get the one with the largest cap. Ribeyes already have a lot of fat, you literally don't need an extra large cap for flavor. It's already built in.

Personally, I think Costco has great steak cuts. I've tried steak from other places and meat stores and Costco is still one of the best.

I agree, the cap is by far the most tender and best tasting cut on the cow. I feel sorry for anyone who picks a ribeye is a small cap.

Marbling, not just chunks of fat in the meat. Keep buying those and leave the good ones for me

The cap is so delicious that when shopping for ribeyes i look for ones with larger fatty caps and smaller eyes. Some places do packs of steaks and try to put one fatty capped one in there and two leaner steaks with little to no caps in them.

Costco will take the caps out of several ribeyes and then roll them together as one
They are expensive, but they are the most delicious steaks

He’s not pointing at the fat cap, but the piece of meet that ends up separating from the rest when sliced. I’ve had small caps that were 10/10 but I see what he is saying. I want to know WHY is my only question besides responding to these comments

I choose the steak with the least fat between the eye and the cap. Not paying good money for too much fat.

Why go to Costco and why pick the rib-eye with the most concentrated fat? You want ribeye with the best marbling not the one that has the most island of fats.

I like smaller ribeyes. Don’t usually eat a whole 16oz steak at once.
