This is your USD News Minute.
Congratulations to USD Men's Soccer on an incredible season. The Toreros' season came to a close last night with a loss to Vermont in the third round of the NCAA tournament. But it was a big season for Men's Soccer, who won their third-straight WCC title, and reached as high as No. 3 in the D-1 national rankings. Go Toreros!
USD is welcoming the holiday season with the annual Christmas tree lighting tomorrow, December 3rd at 4:30 p.m. at Paseo de Colachis. Join the USD community for refreshments and carolers to get in the holiday spirit.
On Sunday, USD is honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, with a kermés at the Ministry Center, followed by a candlelight procession to the Immaculata and a bilingual mass. There will also be live mariachi, dinner and games. Register using the link.
This Friday is the grand finale of the Fowler Business Concept Challenge. 16 semi-finalist teams from across campus will pitch a new business concept to a live audience of local investors, industry leaders, students and alumni for the chance to win up to $45,000 in scholarships.
