The M520 GOER had articulated steering. The cab was separate from the rest of the truck and the joint in the, middle turned to steer it, just like a front end loader and some other heavy construction equipment. The LVSR doesn't have articulated steering like that. Having more than one pair of wheels turn isn't the same as articulated steering, it's 4-wheel (or more) steering. I drove an M561 Gama Goat once. That was interesting. It's a 6x6 with 4-wheel steering, and the rear wheels turn the opposite direction of the front wheels. When one goes around a corner and see the front wheels, it looks like the driver didn't turn sharp enough and won't make it. The 3 cylinder diesel engine only put out 101 hp, but it was a bit faster than an M151 jeep. When I was in Germany and we convoyed down the autobahn to the field, the chief's jeep was the lead vehicle and his driver had it floored constantly. All of the other trucks were faster than the jeep so we followed him as fast as he could go.

Even worse, you don't say 'mk 10' like 'em kay 10'. Mk in military terminology means 'mark'. So Mk. 10 means 'Mark 10', so that's how you say it.

Number 11 is actually Stewart & Stevenson, and is the American version of the Austrian Styer army truck. The m1079 is just one of the versions which is a 4x4 with a van body. There are few 4 x 4 versions and about a dozen 6x6 versions available. Pretty much all the versions are available for the public to own except for the HIMARS multiple missile launch system.
