Here I am, returning to Eorzea after a long absence from FF14. I remember my surprise when I learned that Midgardsormr is actually an alien from another planet. And that all dragons are descended from aliens.

But by now I would consider all but the first brood as children of Hydelyn. They have been with the planet and it’s aether long enough to be one and the same.
