* 1.5 cups low fat milk
* 2 tablespoon half and half
* 1 tablespoon vanilla instant pudding mix
* 1 teaspoon white granulated sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 tablespoons liquid for re-spin, half and half or milk
* 3 Oreo cookies, broken in half
1. Mix Base in Pint Container - Mix the milk, half and half, instant pudding mix, sugar, and vanilla extract in the pint container. I like to use a milk frother to do this, but you can also mix well with a fork or small whisk.
2. Place the pint in the freezer and freeze for 24 hours so it is fully solid. Make sure you place it on a level surface in your freezer. I prefer to freeze with the lid off as I find it prevents the ‘hump’ from forming in the middle.
3. Insert into the outer bowl, add the lid, and lock into position. Blend on ‘Lite Ice-Cream’. It will likely be crumbly after the first spin. Make a little well in the center and add an extra 2 tablespoons of half and half or milk before 2nd spin.
4. Spin a 2nd Time - Re-spin on the same lite ice cream setting. After the second spin it should be creamy and ready for mix-ins.
5. Mix-In Oreos - Add the Oreo cookie pieces. It’s best to press some down into the soft serve so they get evenly distributed vs being only mixed in on the top half. Blend on the ‘mix-in’ setting and enjoy!
