It seems nobody that makes youtube PET videos actually uses the PET. PETs have BASIC 4 with extra DISK commands. Type DIRECTORY or CATALOG to see the directory. This does not erase the program in memory like doing LOAD"$", 8 does. Use DLOAD"filename" to load files. Also, all CBM BASICs allow you to abbreviate the commands by typing the first one or two letters followed by a shifted second letter, so you could type "cA" or "diR" to list the directory, and "dL" to DLOAD the program.
